What is Wellness Coaching?
First, I want to thank you for your interest in coaching and and making a positive impact on your well-being.
Wellness/health coaching is all about discovery and providing the support so that you can focus on living your best life. In order to do that, most people find that there needs to be some improvements to their way of living. Making those improvements and implementing positive lasting behavioral change can be challenging when you have to do it all by yourself.
What does a Wellness Coach do?
When I work with someone in coaching, I am ultimately here to serve YOU. You are the one in charge of your life, which includes any work we do together. I am not here to tell you what to do or provide you with a pre-made, cookie-cutter wellness plan. However, together, we can co-create a plan of action that is specific, measurable, and achievable.
As your coach I will work with you to get a very clear picture about where you currently are with your health and well-being. We will work together to take stock of your current wellness levels through the use of coaching tools and any improvement recommendations you may have received from treatment professionals. Then we'll build a wellness vision- an over-arching image of yourself functioning at your absolute best, and living life to the fullest.
We'll compare where you're at now and where you want to be in the future, and together, we'll develop a solid plan to help you close the gap.
Coaching is a judgement free, safe area for all of my clients. I value and respect your thoughts, feelings, and experiences. Everything we discuss will be held completely confidential.
