About Living Well and Wild

I’m Alexis, a national board certified wellness coach, creative entrepreneur, vegan, fencer, and lover of all things otherworldly. I am also the woman behind The Book of Extraordinary Things- a guided journal based on the science of positive psychology.

Before I started Living Well and Wild, I worked for years in a stressful and unfulfilling job that ultimately left me depressed and feeling disconnected with the people I loved. Towards the end of my time in that career, I started a small clothing company called Geeked Out Fitness with my husband and some friends, to take my mind off work and to honor my creative spirit. While we were busy with GOF I stopped eating so many of my feelings and started to indulge in my newfound curiosity for health and well-being. I came across the book “Wellness Coaching for Lasting Lifestyle Change” by Dr. Michael Arloski that really resonated with me. I had never even heard of wellness coaching before but now I wanted to learn everything there was to know about it.
